About us
Sandy LaComa, PT, Cert.MDT
Sandy has over 34 years in the healing arts and has a passion of combining eastern philosophies and western medicine - using the best of both.
Sandy is a licensed physical therapist who lives in North Carolina. She is trained in mechanical diagnosis and treatment, dry needling, and addressing imbalances in the musculoskeletal system as well as the nervous system.
“The sympathetic nervous system can impact the functioning of the Vegas nerve. This nerve is responsible for many body processes including digestion and support of the immune system. Actually over 70% of current medical illnesses can be attributed to the stress response. While this is a necessary survival instinct, when out of balance it can reduce health and vitality.”
Along with traditional physical therapy, Sandy is also a Reiki master and utiltizes a mixture of techniques to help hold the space for others to find and keep their energy in balance.
She believes deeply in self healing and meditation. She practices qigong (pronounced “Chee Gong”), meditation and chakra balancing daily. Sandy loves to be open to new experiences, enjoying the fruits of Earth and being in the constant presence of Divine Light and Love.
Sandy founded Waipoint LLC as a way to bring to these balancing techniques to those who need both the very best of ancient, time-honored Eastern healing methods with the very best of modern Western medicine.

Wai is a Thai greeting. Like Namaste, it is a prayer, a respect, and a gesture that demonstrates deep honor. Wai recognizes the Sacred Spirit that we meet in each other.
Vortex energy can be felt in many places. Breathe deeply and feel.
